Office 2016 Install Via PDQ

Office Admin Editor

  1. Open Office 2016 admin setup
  2. Create a new one or open existing
  3. Go down to setup – Licensing and User Interface
  4. Set the Display Level to Non and Suppress modal
  5. Go to Setup – Modify Setup properties
  6. Add the following
    •  HIDEUPDATEUI
      • Value True
    • SETUP_REBOOT
      • Value Never
  7. Save as a new msp file or save over your current one

 

PDQ Package Creation

  1. In the install file put the setup.exe file
  2. In the Parameters put /adminfile nameofadminfile.msp
  3. Include Entire Directory (Make sure you’ve saved the MSP file in the same folder as the office install folder)
