Tucasi Schools Cash Office server not communicating with Tucasi online server

  1. Log on to your Schools Cash Office server
  2. Right click on the Windows task bar and start task manager
  3. Go to the processes tab and end any running SCO or Java tasks (SCOdatasync.exe, jave.exe or javaw.exe)
  4. Click on the start icon, go to programs/all programs and find the Schools Cash Office folder
  5. Expand the folder and run SCO Configuration, click Save
  6. Click on the start icon, go to programs/all programs and find the Schools Cash Office folder
  7. Expand the folder and run SCO Internet Sync Config Util
  8. Make sure Tucasi Online Server is ticked and click Test Connection
  9. A new window should open, check that all the details are filled in and click Test, DO NOT tick Enable Advanced Properties
  10. The connection test should finish successfully and the status should read “Connection Test Successful and Site ID saved”, it may ask you to confirm the school name during the test.
  11. Once the test has finished successfully click Quit and then on the previous window click Save.
  12. Start Schools Cash Office and login, go to the Reports Tab, System Status Report and check that it says “Online payments – INSTALLED”
  13. Go to the Admin tab and click on Scheduled Task Maintenance
  14. Select “Remove any SCO tasks and install a fresh set” and click OK, a window will come up asking you to confirm, click Yes.
  15. You will then be asked for Task Credentials, click the browse button (…) and select domain at the top, enter the Windows Domain Administrator username and click search, click yes on the prompt that appears
  16. Select the correct username from the white box and click ok, enter the password in the task credential box and click save credentials.
  17. You should then receive a confirmation box telling you the tasks are installed, one of which should be called IPM.
  18. Go to the reports tab, click on System Status Report and then on the Scheduled Tasks tab find the task for Send and receive school data and click on the “Click” at the end of the line
  19. You will receive a box confirming you want to run the task now, click Yes, a second box will appear saying “task executed successfully” click OK
  20. The Status of Last Run should eventually update to say online synchronisation completed successfully, with a correct date and time stamp.
