Dell server is having problems when wanting to install Server 2012 R2. We originally started installing from a disc that we have using plenty of times and just used it from the servers DVD drive. This didn’t work and the installation kept asking for drivers for the DVD, USB or HDD drive. Even when you download the drivers and point the installation to where the drivers are stored, this still doesn’t work. We then tried installing it from USB, which didn’t work, even though the same ISO has been used on lots of Server installing. We then used a USB DVD drive and a new DVD with the ISO on. This worked first time, so for some reason the server didn’t want to install from the DVD drive or USB drive.
